Simply print your tickets and bring them with you the evening of the performance.

Tickets sent through the mail will arrive no later than two (2) weeks prior to the performance date. If you have ordered tickets for a performance that is less than two weeks away and have not received your tickets, please contact the Box Office at 717-846-1111 for assistance.

Are beverages allowed in the theatre for Strand-Capitol performances?
Yes, although there may be an occasional exception required by the artist. Gulping before the curtain time or at intermission is no longer necessary!

May I bring my own food or drinks to the theatre?
No outside food or beverages are permitted.  Refreshments – including snacks, soda, coffee, water and full bar service are available in both the Strand and Capitol theatres. Whether you want to enjoy a hot cup of coffee before the show or a cocktail at intermission, you’re sure to find an option to tempt your tastebuds.

Does the Strand-Capitol offer children’s tickets?
We do not treat children any differently from any other Customer.  We do not make special rules indicating minimum age requirements, or anything like that.  However, like any other Customer, if they become disruptive, they will be asked to leave.  We can only give one warning, since even doing that is disruptive to the people sitting in the area.  Additionally, refunds are not available to anyone who is asked to leave the theatre for being disruptive.

Anyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.  We appreciate that there may be circumstances where a Customer wishes to bring a baby, who will be in their arms the whole time, to the theatre.  Our experience is that having a seat for that baby allows the space for the people sitting next to the family to feel comfortable.  We suggest you take advantage of that seat to bring a car seat into the theatre for your child.

However, we hope you understand that we have to be mindful of our responsibility to make sure that everyone in the theatre has an enjoyable experience, and babies tend to react to the changes in sound and lighting in our theatre by crying, so while we do not have restrictions, we do advise against bringing any children to the theatre who cannot maintain the kind of behavior that is necessary.
